Fluid Tech has also manufactured a custom 8-inch nipple with a 12-inch flange for a specialized application and supplied large industrial hose projects, including 8-inch rubber discharge hose assemblies with male and female camlock ends. Other projects have included full reels of hydraulic hose assembled with fittings to meet specific customer requirements.

Project Spotlight: Specialized Machining for Aerospace Government Entity Application
One project in particular demonstrates the scale, technical expertise, and ingenuity of the Fluid Tech team.
As a subcontractor on an electric arc shock tunnel project for an aerospace government entity, Fluid Tech completed the machining and power honing of multiple large aluminum tube assemblies. The finished components featured 21-inch bores and individual sections measuring up to 20 feet long. When assembled, the sections totaled up to 60 feet in overall length.
The project called for more than existing equipment and standard processes. To complete the work on time and within specification, Fluid Tech developed specialized tooling and new inspection procedures in-house and invested in the equipment required for the application.
